Glenn very sadly passed away in early
December 2017. She was a loyal and
enthusiastic member of our art group and
will be very sadly missed.
She was a member of Buckinghamshire
Art Society and West Wycombe Art Group, a member of
The New Wycombe Art Group and The Hughenden Art Group.
Acrylic, collage, watercolour
Local countryside, travel
She regularly exhibited in various venues including Obsidian Gallery and had paintings accepted for two poetry books. She also had work exhibited in Aylesbury Museum, Bedford Street Gallery, West Wycombe Art Group, The Grape House Gallery, Princes Risborough Court House, No 14 and “The Barn Gallery” Thame, Speen Fete and Festival
Glenn was a member of Visual Images Group and has exhibited at Bucks Open Studios for several years with West Wycombe Art Group, and more recently with her husband, (a photographer).
The subject matter she prefered was landscape. Glenn liked to work outdoors sketching and recording the scene and her inspiration was the local country side and the foreign places she visited.
Glenn had recently increased her use of mixed media. Using collage on a support, which was the initial painting and cutting that and re-making the painting with added depth and emotion.
