Julie studied fine art at Amersham College from 1978-81.
She spent the next ten years working in film production.

Married to Richard with three children, Julie returned to painting when her youngest child was two, and discovered a passion for painting people.

Oil paint is her first love, her style is loose and expressive, she also uses watercolour, acrylic, pastel and mixed media to create colourful semi abstract images.
