Favourite media:
Acrylic, mixed

Inspirations:
Light, energy, emotion

Inspired to paint and draw at school, I’ve pursued a continuous career in advertising since leaving art college, initially as a commercial artist and later becoming a creative director.

I am now re-discovering my artistic skills and investigating different forms of visual expression.

My subjects include portraits, landscapes, equestrian, aviation and sports, using acrylics and mixed media in an intense variety of styles, radiating light, energy and emotion. I’m regularly commissioned to produce individual works for private clients.

I joined West Wycombe Art Group in 2009, and exhibited my work for the very first time during Bucks Open Studios in June 2010.

I was recently honoured to be commissioned for a painting of a Merlin helicopter for the Commander of Britannia Royal Naval College, Dartmouth.

I live with my wife, Jean, in the Cotswolds, where I find priceless inspiration for my work.
