Having attended art classes previously I joined the West Wycombe Art Group under the tutelage of Dennis Syrett in Jan. 1999 where I made steady progress. Success at our annual August exhibition and the Bucks Open Studios exhibition in June each year has been encouraging and only serves to inspire me to explore new areas. Since 2002 I have attended weekly art sessions with Rosina Flower who has greatly influenced me with her very free style. My work includes watercolour, acrylic, mixed media and pen and wash together with pencil portraits. I strive to produce good pictures which is a continuing challenge and whilst very demanding is also a great source of satisfaction.
