Daisies and Sweet Peas

My paintings are mainly of ‘soft’ subjects leaning towards flowers, toys and the nicer things in life. I love being able to sit in front of a beautiful bunch of flowers and be inspired, because of this watercolour and pastel gives me the subtleness and vibrancy that I look for. On occasion I paint landscapes and portraits which help to challenge my drawing skills.
More recently I have been commissioned to paint an oil landscape which required some new techniques, which I enjoyed immensely and I was delighted with the result. I have been a member of the Group for over 15 years and enjoy painting with them on a weekly basis. Annually I take part in the Groups August Exhibition and The Bucks Open Studios. My motivation to paint and improve is the pleasure of seeing loyal customers regularly to view my new work.
