Janet Redgate

Janet is an illustrator working mainly in bold bright acrylics and watercolour to capture the magic moments of everyday life.

Imagination and storytelling are central to the whimsical characters and landscapes found in much of her work, often drawing upon real people she has observed wearing an interesting pair of shoes or deep in conversation on a park bench. She also enjoys spending time by the sea in Devon, sketchbook in hand, so rock pools and cheeky seagulls often feature in her paintings.

Janet is delighted to be a member of the West Wycombe Art Group, and finds working alongside such varied and talented artists to be inspirational.
